About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

The President of the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), Ion Bodrug, participated in the RAPTOR Summit 2026, held on March 23 in Copenhagen, as a representative of the Municipality of Bălți.

The event, organized by EIT Urban Mobility, brought together representatives of cities participating in the RAPTOR programme, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, cooperation, and the identification of innovative solutions to urban mobility challenges.

During the summit, the Municipality of Bălți presented its specific challenge within the programme – the development of a “Smart Bus Network,” aligned with European trends in digitalization and urban mobility optimization.

Ion Bodrug’s participation facilitated the exchange of best practices with other European cities such as Berlin, Helsinki, and Brussels, contributing to strengthening Bălți’s position within the European network of urban innovation initiatives.

Additionally, during the working sessions, the President of ACETI engaged in thematic discussions focused on urban mobility flow analysis, alongside other participating cities, highlighting a shared interest in data-driven and technology-based solutions.

The Municipality of Bălți’s participation in this programme contributes to testing innovative solutions prior to major investments and to strengthening cooperation with European partners in order to develop a more efficient and sustainable urban transport system.
