About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

EDIH of Moldova, the first and currently the only European Digital Innovation Hub in the Republic of Moldova, is organising the EDIH of Moldova Conference 2026 – Digitalisation for Businesses and Public Institutions in Chișinău. The event is dedicated to practical digitalisation solutions, innovation, and strengthening cooperation between the business community, public administration, and the European innovation ecosystem.

The event will take place on 27 October at the Technical University of Moldova, Aula Magna, 168 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard. It will bring together representatives of SMEs, public institutions, universities, technology providers, support organisations, experts, and international partners.

EDIH of Moldova is the first and currently the only European Digital Innovation Hub in the Republic of Moldova, coordinated by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI). Through its one-stop shop and a consortium of 15 partners, the hub connects organisations with expertise, services, and opportunities to help them advance their digitalisation journey.

A day dedicated to practical digitalisation solutions

The conference aims to go beyond general discussions about digital transformation and give participants the opportunity to discover applicable solutions, learn about available support services, and identify new opportunities for cooperation.

During the event, EDIH of Moldova will present the services it offers to support businesses and public institutions in their digital transformation. Participants will learn how to assess their organisation’s current level of digitalisation, identify needs and priorities, develop a digitalisation roadmap, and access technical expertise.

The programme will also cover testing solutions before investing, developing digital skills, the responsible use of artificial intelligence, mentoring, and support for project development. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore technological solutions, funding opportunities, and relevant digital transformation experiences.

What will businesses and public institutions gain from the conference?

For SMEs, the event will be an opportunity to discover technologies and solutions suited to their own processes, learn which services they can access to digitalise their businesses, and speak directly with experts and technology providers. Entrepreneurs will also be able to explore funding opportunities and ways to develop digital skills.

For public institutions and local public authorities, the conference will highlight solutions for modernising public administration, improving internal processes, and enhancing services for citizens. Participants will learn about available support for identifying digital needs, developing employees’ skills, and preparing digital transformation projects.

The conference programme will include plenary sessions, thematic discussions with experts, and practical workshops covering the four service areas of EDIH of Moldova: ecosystem development and networking; test-before-invest services and technical experimentation; digital skills development; and access to funding and investment readiness.

The event will also provide networking opportunities, bringing together businesses, public institutions, specialists, technology providers, and support organisations. The aim is to encourage the exchange of experience and build connections that can develop into partnerships and concrete initiatives.
