About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

Startup Moldova Summit 2026 once again highlighted the growing potential of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova, bringing together founders, investors, and key innovation stakeholders. In this context, EDIH “DIH of Moldova” marked an important milestone with the official announcement of the launch of the country’s first European Digital Innovation Hub.

The announcement was made by Ion Bodrug, President of the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) and coordinator of the hub, who emphasized the role of EDIH in accelerating the digital transformation of local companies.

“Startups do not fail due to a lack of ideas or talent, but because they do not become sufficiently digital and scalable. Through EDIH, we provide concrete support to overcome these barriers,” said Ion Bodrug during the event.

EDIH “DIH of Moldova” offers an integrated package of services for startups and SMEs, structured around four main pillars: testing technologies before investment, developing digital skills, access to finance, and integration into the European ecosystem. This enables companies to test solutions such as artificial intelligence, automation, or cybersecurity before committing financial resources, train their teams, and more easily access grants and investment opportunities.

Another key element presented at the event was the MIDIA tool – a solution for measuring the digital intensity of companies.

Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to interact directly with the EDIH team at the dedicated exhibition stand, where they received information about services, funding opportunities, and the steps needed for business digitalization.

By participating in Startup Moldova Summit 2026, EDIH “DIH of Moldova” reinforces its role as a catalyst for digital innovation, contributing to connecting local companies with European networks, resources, and markets.
