About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

EDIH Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova participated on 26 June 2026 in the national networking and dissemination event of the Moldova Innovation CONNECT – Bridging Research, Business and Digital Transformation (MI-CONNECT) project, held at the premises of the National Agency for Research and Development. During the event, the hub signed a cooperation agreement with organizations belonging to the European networks Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), aimed at strengthening collaboration in innovation, technology transfer and digital transformation.

The event brought together representatives of academia and research institutions, the business community, innovation support organizations, and experts from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, partnership building and the identification of new cooperation opportunities.

During the session dedicated to Digital Innovation Hubs, Ion Bodrug, President of ACETI and Coordinator of EDIH Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova, presented the evolution of Digital Innovation Hub initiatives in the Republic of Moldova and their journey towards integration into the European Digital Innovation Hubs network. He also showcased the services provided by EDIH Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova to small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions, including digital maturity assessments, access to technological expertise, digital skills development, and connection to the European innovation ecosystem.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of a cooperation agreement between EEN Moldova, PROSME Romania, EDIH Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova and Wallachia eHub. The agreement establishes a strategic framework for delivering integrated support services in innovation, technology transfer, digitalisation and internationalisation, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The partnership seeks to leverage the parties’ expertise, resources and European networks in order to support companies and public institutions in their modernisation efforts, enhance competitiveness and facilitate integration into European value chains.

Participation in the event enabled EDIH Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova to further strengthen its relationships with partner organisations and identify new opportunities for cooperation at both national and European levels, ultimately benefiting businesses and public institutions in the Republic of Moldova.
