About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) participated in the international conference “Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Eastern Partnership (EaP) Countries,” held on May 15 in Chișinău.
The event was organized as part of the DT4SME initiative – Digital Transformation of SMEs in Eastern Partnership Countries – bringing together representatives of European institutions, governments from the Eastern Partnership countries, pre-selected Digital Innovation Hubs from the Republic of Moldova, as well as EDIHs from Romania and Ukraine, and experts in digital policy and technology transfer from international organizations.

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova, which recently successfully passed the national pre-selection process for identifying future European Digital Innovation Hubs, presented details on the hub’s strategic vision, services available to SMEs and public institutions, as well as its developed international partnerships. The presentation highlighted the main directions and priority sectors of activity, along with the strategic development areas outlined in the DIH of Moldova Development Strategy for the period 2025–2030.

At the same time, DIH of Moldova proposed to the other hubs that, considering the current context and the recommendations of the European Commission, they join a common effort to strengthen the national digital innovation ecosystem and develop a project proposal that broadly and cohesively represents the strategic interests of the Republic of Moldova in the European call dedicated to EDIHs.
