About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

EDIH DIH of Moldova, the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Republic of Moldova, was one of the central elements of the information and training event dedicated to the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) methodology and the assessment of technological maturity, organized by the Moldovan Technology Transfer Network, on Wednesday, May 13, in Chișinău. The initiative brought together representatives from academia, the business environment, and the innovation ecosystem, with a focus on the role of assessment tools and support mechanisms in accelerating the digital transformation of SMEs.

The presentation of the hub was delivered by Ion Bodrug, who emphasized the importance of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in adopting digital technologies and strengthening their competitiveness.

During the session, the services offered by EDIH DIH of Moldova were highlighted, aimed at supporting SMEs in their digital transformation journey, including digital maturity assessment, technology testing before investment, digital skills training and development, access to expertise and innovative solutions, as well as support for the integration of advanced digital technologies.

Participants showed strong interest in the application process for the calls launched by EDIH DIH of Moldova, with discussions focusing on opportunities available for companies seeking to accelerate their digitalization and innovation processes.

In this context, EDIH DIH of Moldova is emerging as a key catalyst for the digital transformation of SMEs, facilitating their access to knowledge, technology, and European expertise. Through such initiatives, the Republic of Moldova is strengthening its path toward a more innovative, competitive economy that is better aligned with the standards and opportunities of the European digital space.
