The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) and Inotek Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement. The document was signed on Tuesday, September 24, at the Summit “DIH of Moldova – the Pillar of Digital Transformation”, held within the framework of the Digital Transformation Days 2024.

The agreement, signed by President Ion Bodrug from ACETI and Administrator Nicolae Mocanu from INOTEK, entails close cooperation to promote innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives by carrying out joint activities within the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova.

In this sense, the two entities will exchange best practices and develop joint projects, mentoring programs, networking activities, etc.

According to the President of ACETI, Ion Bodrug, the collaboration between ACETI and INOTEK will bring a necessary exchange of experience in digital transformation in the North and South of the country, which will accelerate the digitalization processes in the two regions.

INOTEK is an innovation center located within the Bogdan Petriceicu Hașdeu State University (USC) in Cahul, which is created with the support of the European Union and the Government of Sweden through Sida/Swedish International Development Agency, within the project “EU4MOLDOVA: Startup City Cahul”, implemented by the Association of IT Companies of Moldova (ATIC) in partnership with the Cahul State University and the Cahul Town Hall.

INOTEK aims to improve the skills needed within the IT sector, thus creating high quality and well-paid jobs and discouraging the emigration of talented young people. By facilitating the continued growth of the technology sector, INOTEK encourages local start-ups and existing companies to expand and attract international IT companies to invest in the Republic of Moldova’s southern region.
