About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

Entrepreneurs from southern Moldova participated, on November 5–6, in an information session dedicated to funding opportunities, SME support programs, and local innovation, organized by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) in Comrat.

The event, held within the framework of the ACETI 4 EDIE project, implemented by ACETI with the support of the Innovate Moldova Program, funded by Sweden and the United Kingdom, brought together representatives of ten companies from the southern region interested in expanding and modernizing their businesses.

The meeting was facilitated by the team of the Association of Businessmen of Gagauzia NEXT”.

On the first day, participants were guided by ACETI experts specializing in investment attraction, who provided details on how the ODA (Organization for Entrepreneurship Development) programs function. Participants learned about the main programs managed by ODA, the eligible areas, application steps, and the obligations of beneficiaries.

They also received practical information on the required documentation, completion of eligibility assessment questionnaires, and project monitoring procedures.

The event included networking sessions designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and foster collaboration among local entrepreneurs.

On the second day, the ACETI team visited local companies in Comrat and nearby communities to assess, on site, the specific needs of each business, as well as to better understand their current level of development and growth potential.

Through this initiative, ACETI and its project partners aim to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in southern Moldova, stimulate local innovation, and facilitate SME access to support and financing programs.
