About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) has successfully promoted the national process of identification of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH). The list of candidates that passed the national pre-selection has been officially submitted to the European Commission.
DIH of Moldova started its history in December 2021 being inspired by the experience of the European Union countries. The sustained efforts of the DIH of Moldova team together with valuable national and international partners in the digital innovation process have been fully appreciated during the national pre-selection.
This result confirms that the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova is the perfect recipe for digital transformation of all regions of the Republic of Moldova.
For the DIH of Moldova a new major challenge follows, namely the participation in the European call dedicated to EDIHs, in order to become a true EDIH that will further contribute to support the digital transformation throughout the Republic of Moldova.
The initiative to organize the national competition is part of the Republic of Moldova’s commitment to actively integrate into the European digital innovation ecosystem and to support the digital and green transformation of SMEs and the public sector.
