ACETI, present at the DIZ – Digital Transformation 2.0 Conference in Iași
In the framework of the “DIH of Moldova steps 4 EDIH” project, the staff of the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova), orchestrated by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), participated together with several members of the hub – at the DIZ Conference – Digital Transformation 2.0 which took place in Iași, Romania, on March 28-29 and brought together most of the EDIHs in Romania, but also other actors responsible for ensuring the digital transformation of SMEs in Romania.
We were honored in the person of the president of ACETI, co-founder of DIH of Moldova, Ion BODRUG, to be responsible for organizing the “Workshop of good practices for future EDIHs from the associated countries of the European Union” during the conference, which represented a special occasion for to meet again with our Digital Innovation Zone mentors, but also with colleagues from other EDIHs in Romania and digital innovation hubs in Ukraine and Georgia.
By participating in this far-reaching event, within the “DIH of Moldova steps 4 EDIH” project, formulas based on partnerships with similar entities from Romania, Ukraine, and Georgia were discussed to promote a visible increase in the competitiveness of strategic economic sectors in the region through promoting the digital economy.
This activity took place with the support of the project “Digital transformation of small and medium enterprises from the countries of the Eastern Partnership”, financed by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ Moldova.
The beneficiaries of the “Digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Eastern Partnership countries” project are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The project works directly with SMEs, but also through intermediaries, such as ACETI and public decision-makers, who will be supported to create regional innovation and digitization systems. Together with its partners, the project will work on improving the framework conditions and national and regional policies for the digital transformation of SMEs, will intensify the cooperation between actors in the digital and entrepreneurial ecosystems for the development of service offers that enable the digital transformation of SMEs and will improve the ability of SMEs to implement digital solutions for their business and production processes.
