The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) convened its members for the annual General Assembly, held on January 21 at Tekwill Bălți. The event marked an important moment for reviewing the progress achieved in 2025 and setting the priorities for the current year.

During the statutory session of the General Assembly, ACETI President Ion Bodrug presented the association’s activity report for 2025, highlighting the key achievements and their impact on the organization’s members.

The association’s future plans were outlined by Mircea Petic, ACETI’s Executive Director, who detailed the strategic directions for 2026. The agenda also included a discussion session on policy proposals in the fields of digital innovation and good governance, where participants actively contributed with ideas and recommendations.

As a well-established tradition within ACETI, each General Assembly is complemented by training and information sessions aimed at strengthening members’ competences and familiarizing them with new development and funding opportunities. This year’s agenda likewise featured presentations focused on support for digital investments and European programs, offering participants up-to-date insights and practical tools for their activities.

In this context, attendees benefited from a dedicated training on European support for digital investments delivered by Lidia Mocanu, expert at the North-East Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord-Est) in Romania, who highlighted the instruments and support mechanisms available for innovative companies. Later, Olga Andriuța, Moldova’s contact point for the Digital Europe Programme, presented the opportunities offered by the program, with a special focus on project calls relevant for the entrepreneurial sector and innovation organizations.

Funding opportunities continued to be addressed by Pavel Curcovici, ACETI expert, who spoke about national funding mechanisms available for entrepreneurs and local innovation initiatives, emphasizing their role in stimulating regional and national economic development.

The General Assembly concluded with a session of open discussions, closing remarks, and networking, offering ACETI members the opportunity to strengthen partnerships and identify new collaborative initiatives for the development of the information technology and digital innovation sector.

The event took place as part of the ACETI 4 EDIE project, implemented with the support of the Innovate Moldova Program, funded by Sweden and the United Kingdom.
