About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovation Technologies (ACETI) has been awarded the silver medal at the INFOINVENT 2025 International Specialized Exhibition for its Digital Intensity Measurement Instrument for SMEs (MIDIA).

This year’s edition of INFOINVENT, organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) in partnership with governmental and academic institutions, took place on 3–5 December 2025 at the International Exhibition Center Moldexpo. The event brought together over 400 inventions, innovative projects, and creative products presented by authors from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, and several other participating countries. INFOINVENT provided a dynamic platform for inventors, researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and creators to showcase advanced technologies, creative works, and innovative solutions.

All entries were evaluated by an international panel of experts, with the awards presented during the official ceremony on 5 December. The jury highly appreciated the originality, practical relevance, and methodological quality of ACETI’s innovation, granting MIDIA the Silver Medal.

MIDIA is the first nationally developed and adapted tool designed specifically for the context of the Republic of Moldova. Created by ACETI under the Digital Maturity in Innovative Regions project, the instrument has been officially registered with AGEPI, confirming its originality and methodological value.

Developed in collaboration with national and international experts and inspired by European models used by Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), MIDIA strengthens the interaction between the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova, initiated by ACETI, and the business community. It enables Moldovan SMEs to assess their current level of digitalization and to identify priority areas for technological development.

Winning the silver medal at INFOINVENT 2025 represents an important recognition of ACETI’s contribution to innovation and to advancing the digital transformation of the Moldovan economy. This achievement follows ACETI’s previous success at INFOINVENT 2023, where the organization also received a silver medal for its innovative solution “Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova – the Perfect Recipe for Regional Digital Transformation.”
