About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) took part, on June 13-14, in the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the ICCC “Selecția”, now a branch of the National Center for Seed Research and Production (CNCPS).

The jubilee conference was attended by more than 100 participants, representatives of the Government, academia and agricultural business from the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Turkey.

ACETI, as a partner of the host institution in the implementation of the project “Edu – Tech – Agro – Nord – Agricultural Technology Education for the North”, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID Moldova) through the Project for Rural Competitiveness and Resilience in Moldova (PCRR), exhibited at the event the drones purchased within the project. One of the flying machines, a multispectral drone, will be used for scientific research on CNCPS fields.

Present at the event, Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, noted the importance of scientific research institutions for the country’s economy and development and wished the institution many years of prolific activity with important new discoveries.

The second day, June 14, was dedicated to the specialized seminar on tillage technologies and systems, organized by CNCPS together with the Centre for Agricultural and Rural Counselling in partnership with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.

The event was dedicated to farmers from the northern part of the Republic of Moldova, more than one hundred people attended.

ACETI congratulates the ICCC “Selecția” on this remarkable occasion and wishes it many years of beautiful achievements that will benefit our entire society.
