About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

On June 12, 2024, ACETI President, Ion Bodrug, at the invitation of Inotek, participated in the Cahul Business Summit, the most important local event dedicated to the development of the business environment and entrepreneurship in the southern region.

During the session “Digital Needs of Entrepreneurs”, ACETI’s President presented, based on the experience of the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova), the formula for implementing digital transformation projects in the regions, based on the European DIH model within the Digital Europe Program, which the Republic of Moldova has recently joined.

The event brought together over 150 entrepreneurs, young people and experts who came to discover new opportunities for economic development and digital transformation in the region.

The Summit brought to the forefront successful digital transformation projects realized in the region, demonstrating the ways of integrating digital solutions in business and public administration, the experience of the business environment in obtaining grants for business development and acquisition of new equipment, the prospects and investment portfolios in the region, as well as the significant growth potential of this region of the Republic of Moldova.

The event was organized by the Inotek Foundation with the financial support of the European Union and Sweden, and with the support of the project “Digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Eastern Partnership countries”, funded by BMZ and implemented by GIZ Moldova.
