ACETI and DIH of Moldova, present at the National Conference “Local digitalization: innovation and easy access to e-services”
The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), represented by its president Ion Bodrug, participated in the national conference “Local digitalization: innovation and easy access to e-services”, organized by the Agency for Electronic Government (AGE).
The conference gathered in Chisinau more than 300 representatives of central and local public authorities to discuss digitalization at local level.
The aim of the event was to highlight the digital transformation at the local level, the achievements of the Unified Public Service Delivery Centers (CUPS) set up in all districts of the country, as well as other digital news.
Ion Bodrug, President of ACETI, presented, during the panel dedicated to the prospects and benefits of digitalization at local level, examples of productive public-private collaboration mediated by ACETI and DIH of Moldova, as well as cases when the assistance provided by ACETI to local public administrations has led to increased efficiency of services provided to the population, such as the introduction of electronic payment in public transport in Balti.
The official presentation of the Portal of Local Public Administration of the Republic of Moldova (e-APL) – a modern solution for efficient local governance – was also held during the conference. Local digitization through e-APL will contribute to lowering the costs of accessing and processing data, thus making it easier for citizens to obtain necessary data and e-services through a single access point.
AGE and ACETI signed a collaboration agreement in October 2023 to establish a framework for cooperation by facilitating and strengthening collaboration on supporting initiatives on the digital transformation of the country and digitization of public services.
