About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) participated, as orchestrator of the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova), in the Moldova Digital Summit 2024, the nation’s main technology event, held on 6 and 7 June in Chisinau to fuel innovation and create partnerships.

The event’s stage brought together over 80 speakers, and attendees were able to attend presentations by innovation technology entrepreneurs, countless B2B workshops, and explore over 1500 square meters dedicated to an innovation showcase in an inspiring 3-day marathon of ideas that will fuel a 100% digital future.

ACETI, in the person of President Ion Bodrug, came to the event to share the association’s experience in the field of digital transformation and the DIH of Moldova concept, successfully created and implemented by ACETI with the support of development partners, as a perfect recipe for digital transformation of the Republic of Moldova accessing European funds in the field of digitization. ACETI took the stage at the panel dedicated to the impact of civil society organizations on activities dedicated to digital transformation in our country.

This year’s event aligned with the objectives of the European Digital Decade to empower businesses and people in a people-centric, sustainable and more prosperous digital future.
