About us

The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova (DIH of Moldova) is a project created in December 2021 by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), together with a group of regional, national, and international IT companies. It follows the model of the European Digital Innovation Hub from Romania, facilitating connections between startups, investors, providing access to funding for digital transformation. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform connecting companies in the region with professionals, future specialists, suppliers, and users.

The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) presented the opportunities offered by DIH of Moldova at the practical workshop “Sources of financing for women-led businesses”, organized within the #SheLeads Program conducted by AFAD.

Over 80 businesswomen present at the event held on April 2nd explored the financing opportunities available for the development of the businesses they run or want to start.

The participants had the opportunity to learn about the funding that can be obtained by accessing different support programs at national level, as well as the sources of financial support offered by Moldova’s international partners.

The President of ACETI, Ion Bodrug, came in front of the entrepreneurs with a presentation of the digital solutions developed by ACETI, the successful projects implemented by ACETI and Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova, the services offered by DIH of Moldova and the vast experience of support from the association to enterprises in the process of accessing various funding programs.

The workshop “Sources of financing for women-led businesses” was organized in the framework of the #SheLeads Program carried out by AFAD, in consortium with Global Business Access and in collaboration with maib within the EVOLVE4GE project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UN Women Moldova.

The program aims to create opportunities for women to start and grow women-run businesses by giving them the tools, support and confidence they need, including one-to-one mentoring in writing business plans.
