ACETI organized a round table with DIHs from Romania and Ukraine
The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) within the project “DIH of Moldova steps 4 EDIH” organized a round table to exchange best practices with the representatives of colleagues from other similar entities from Romania and Ukraine with Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova.
Collaboration with colleagues from Romania and Ukraine is an excellent opportunity to take over the experience of similar entities in the EU and a country that has already joined the EDIH initiatives under the corresponding EU programs.
The round table was a platform to discuss with representatives of similar entities, but also with partners in order to ensure the evolution of the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova in the direction of supporting the digital transformation of SMEs and also of other public and private entities.
Among the objectives of the “DIH of Moldova steps 4 EDIH” project is the consolidation of the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova as an institutionalized mechanism for the digital transformation of SMEs, especially in the northern region of the country, to ensure a visible increase in the competitiveness of strategic economic sectors from the region by promoting the digital economy, creating partnerships based on projects with similar entities from Ukraine, Georgia, Romania and other EU states, but also increasing the skills of Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova members.
This activity took place with the support of the project “Digital transformation of small and medium enterprises from the countries of the Eastern Partnership”, financed by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ Moldova.
The beneficiaries of the “Digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Eastern Partnership countries” project are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The project works directly with SMEs, but also through intermediaries, such as ACETI and public decision-makers, who will be supported to create regional innovation and digitization systems. Together with its partners, the project will work on improving the framework conditions and national and regional policies for the digital transformation of SMEs, will intensify the cooperation between actors in the digital and entrepreneurial ecosystems for the development of service offers that enable the digital transformation of SMEs and will improve the ability of SMEs to implement digital solutions for their business and production processes.
