EDIH of Moldova and West Ukraine EDIH Strengthen Cooperation on Cross-Border Digital Innovation
EDIH of Moldova and West Ukraine EDIH have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), expressing their intention to develop long-term cooperation in the field of digital innovation and digital transformation.
The partnership provides a framework for bringing the two digital innovation ecosystems closer together and for building connections between organizations, specialists, SMEs and public institutions from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
The exchange of knowledge and good practices, participation in joint initiatives, and access to international cooperation opportunities are among the areas the two hubs intend to explore in the period ahead.
The partnership also opens opportunities for joint participation in international initiatives and events, as well as for strengthening connections between organizations and specialists from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
EDIH of Moldova is the first and currently the only European Digital Innovation Hub in the Republic of Moldova, selected by the European Commission under the Digital Europe Programme. The hub is coordinated by the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) and provides support services for the digital transformation of SMEs and public sector organizations.
The signing of the agreement with West Ukraine EDIH expands this cooperation network and strengthens the links between the digital innovation ecosystems of the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and the European Union.
At the same time, EDIH of Moldova is currently running the Start Digital 360° call, through which SMEs and public institutions can access integrated support services for digital transformation.
The programme offers SMEs and public institutions an integrated pathway for digital transformation, including digitalization assessment, needs identification and the development of a digital transformation roadmap, digital skills development, preparation for the responsible use of artificial intelligence, mentoring, and connections with solutions, experts and partners.
