ACETI at TehFizUVS 2025: The ACETI–iDomus–USM Synergy Shaping the Future of IIoT Skills
ACETI, together with iDomus, a member company of the association, took part in the scientific-practical conference “Advanced Physical Technologies with the Application of UAVs in Monitoring and Modeling Environmental Factors (TehFizUVS 2025)”. During the event, we presented our shared vision for driving innovation and building future skills in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) through the collaborative ecosystem formed by ACETI, iDomus, and the Moldova State University (USM).
Held on 14 November by USM, in the context of the International Day of Science for Peace and Development, the conference highlighted the crucial role of cooperation between academia, industry, and the innovation community in Moldova.
In our presentation, we emphasized how ongoing dialogue between universities and the tech sector can shape a truly integrated ecosystem—one capable of accelerating the development of IIoT skills. At the center of this vision stands the IIoT Pro Center Ungheni, a platform launched by iDomus for innovation, research, practical training, and advanced manufacturing. The center is supported by the EU4Moldova: Key Regions program, implemented by UNDP Moldova and UNICEF Moldova.
The partnership between USM and ACETI, formalized through a cooperation agreement, strengthens national capacities in cutting-edge technologies and boosts applied research.
Through the DIH of Moldova, ACETI serves as a bridge connecting the university (USM) and industry partners like iDomus, fostering collaboration, promoting emerging technologies, and creating the conditions for impactful partnerships.
The ACETI–iDomus–USM synergy is key to unlocking the full potential of the IIoT Pro Center Ungheni and to preparing a new generation of specialists in electronics, IoT, and IIoT.
