ACETI members gathered on Friday, September 12, at the General Assembly to establish the association’s future development directions, learn about the latest trends in digitization, and celebrate the organization’s sixth anniversary.

The event aimed to strengthen the ACETI community through training, exchange of best practices, and strategic discussions dedicated to innovation and digital transformation. Participants explored digital tools useful for SMEs, learned about European support opportunities for investments in smart technologies, and contributed to defining priorities for the years ahead.

In his message to the participants, Ion Bodrug, President of ACETI, congratulated the members on six years of activity, emphasizing that this anniversary marks not only the passage of time, but also the maturity of a community united by shared values. “Innovation and digital transformation are not just a global trend, but a necessity for every entrepreneur and institution that wishes to remain competitive. ACETI continues to take on the role of supporting businesses and society in seizing these opportunities,” noted the association’s president.

The program of the event also included two interactive training sessions. During the training “AI Tools for SME Work,” artificial intelligence expert Veaceslav Cunev presented solutions demonstrating how technologies can simplify daily tasks and increase business efficiency. The second training, delivered by Ciprian Morcan, founder and CEO of Hygia, was dedicated to European support for digital investments and showcased the mechanisms of several projects in which the company is involved, such as EUroBRIDGE_UA_MD and MANUFACTergy.

Discussions within the meeting focused on policy proposals for digital innovation and good governance, strategic development directions, and opportunities to expand collaboration between businesses, public administration, and domain experts. All these initiatives will strengthen ACETI’s role as a key player in promoting digitalization in the Republic of Moldova.

Through the organization of such events, ACETI once again reaffirms its commitment to supporting the country’s economic development through digitalization, innovation, and collaboration, proving that digital transformation is not only a necessity but also an opportunity for the entire business community in the Republic of Moldova.

The event took place within the ACETI 4 EDIE project, implemented with the support of the Innovate Moldova Program, funded by Sweden.
