Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova attending the annual meeting of the EDIH network in Brussels
The Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova takes part in the second edition of the EDIH Network Summit, held on November 26 and 27 in Brussels. The event brings together the main stakeholders of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network, including representatives of different thematic working groups, national authorities and expert groups.
The Summit aims to provide first-hand insights on key topics such as the challenges emerging with the development of artificial intelligence, as well as to facilitate in-depth discussions on practical topics through best practices for digital transformation and innovative solutions in several areas including agri-food, construction, cybersecurity, digital health and smart connectivity.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in workshops, panel discussions and networking sessions aimed at fostering collaboration and sharing best practices.
The discussions during the Summit, including with representatives of several EIDHR entities from different countries, will help us to accumulate important information that we will implement in the work of IHL of Moldova.
One of the highlights of the event was the EDIH network award ceremony, which recognized the most outstanding success stories of the network.
On the second day of the event, DIH of Moldova, represented by Mr. Ion Bodrug, participated in “The Ukraine Network Session”, telling the audience about the successes achieved by the hub, including through collaboration with similar entities in other countries.
Earlier this year Moldova joined the Digital Europe Program. The program aims to accelerate economic recovery and to shape the digital transformation of European society and economy, focusing in particular on SMEs. This will enable the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) to operate in the Republic of Moldova as one-stop-shops to support companies and public sector organizations to respond to digital challenges and become more competitive.
DIH of Moldova’s participation in the event was made possible thanks to the Digital Transformation of SMEs in Eastern Partnership Countries project, implemented by GIZ Moldova.
